We teach how to advocate, how to communicate, how to understand U.S. laws, and more.

We teach you how to effectively communicate in all mediums - in writing, in a meeting, and to a group. We teach how to craft and deliver messages for stakeholders, volunteers, media, voters, large audiences, and anyone else you are talking to. We teach you how to communicate your values, your plan, your ideas so your audience will care, listen, and understand.

We will train and teach you how to turn an idea into a law, and how to communicate with lawmakers and the public. We teach how to understand U.S. laws and lawmaking. U.S. law is complex and confusing. We teach everything from a “user’s guide” to expert level. Our programs aim towards business and nonprofit leaders, grassroots activists, and non-U.S. lawyers. We teach about Congress, state legislatures, and the courts, and the complex issues before them.

Democracy & Governance

We specialize in democracy building with national and local governments, media, nonprofits, advocacy groups, political parties, and interest groups. We organize neighborhood projects and teach at large conferences. We know how to take ideas and give them the best chance to become laws. We understand the inner workings of government institutions and how to build them so they are fair, transparent, and accountable to the people. We are experts in lawmaking, government relations, and communications, and specialize in advocacy skill development, issue advocacy planning, gender issues, political candidate development, political campaigns, election process, nonprofit governance, coalition building, grassroots organizing, education, and capacity building. Rule of Law

We work with governments, courts, nonprofits, activists, advocacy groups, universities, law schools, and lawyers to guarantee free and fair courts and access to justice. Specialized expertise includes country and issue specific legal literacy, lawyer training, legal process and content, lawmaking process, law school administration, policy, and process, gender equality in education and the workplace, and creating experiential learning opportunities in law schools.
